Dr. Lester Kuhlman
Dr. Kuhlman was born and raised on a livestock and crop farm. He received a
Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry. Following 3 years of teaching at the College
level and 6 years consulting for Ralston Purina Co., and managing a livestock
production unit, he then formed two companies to solve solid waste problems
by composting. Activities today consist of consulting for design and operation
of composting facilities in various countries, manufacture and sales of composting
equipment, compost marketing and leasing of equipment for the bioremediation
of petrol, explosive and insecticide contaminated soils. Dr. Kuhlman has
lectured and written extensively on composting technologies and on the value
of compost for agriculture.
